Louvre Abu Dhabi tells the story of humanity through art, from ancient civilisations to the present day, with works on loan from leading French museums such as the Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and Centre Pompidou.
The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, is a masterpiece in its own right: a vast dome inspired by traditional Arabic architecture that filters sunlight like palm leaves. An audio guide is available through the museum app.
