An evening in the golden dunes near Al Faqaa: dune driving, sunset photos, sandboarding and a relaxed camp night with a camel ride, henna and a BBQ buffet.
Your safari starts with a pickup from your hotel and a drive out to the dunes, where a 4x4 takes you on an exciting off-road ride across the sand. Stop along the way to take in the quiet of the desert and snap sunset photos, and have a go at sandboarding if you like.
At the Al Faqaa camp, settle into a traditional setting of carpets and cushions around a stage. Try a short camel ride, get a henna design or pose in local dress, then enjoy a buffet dinner with BBQ and soft drinks as the evening entertainment begins.

Pickup from your hotel or residence in Dubai in a shared or private 4x4. Dune driving is not recommended for guests with back, neck or heart conditions or for children under 3. By UAE law, pregnant women cannot join dune drives.
